Torbay Acting Factory.

I thought  would mention that i never got to undertake WBL with Torbay Acting Factory.

I mentioned in one of my first blog posts that it had been confirmed i could work there, unfortunately the times they wanted me, i was already working at my normal job, they also wanted me to have a CRB, which i did not have at the time.

I enquired into how to do this with Sandy Akerman , and got a CRB form, which i could not get without a tutor's signature from South Devon College Help Zone.

Unfortunately by the time this had all happened the school was shut for the summer holidays.

I still have good contact with Polly Davies who runs workshops! Hopefully in the future after obtaining my CRB i could ask if there are any jobs available or volunteer as i have alot of history with TAF!

TAF helped me gain confidence, as i was painfully shy as a child. The environment was a safe place to let loose and have fun!
I made many friends and really feel in love with the arts through my years at TAF. I would love to give back to children who maybe were in the same position as me-feeling shy and nervous around new people. 
I am now a confident and outgoing person, all thanks to TAF!
